This week:
We're heading to New Orleans to take a closer look at the high school that produced Arch, Peyton, and Eli Manning.
Isidore Newman is a private school where tuition costs more than $30,000 a year — and its athletic facilities look more like what you'd expect to find at a college than a high school.
One of the biggest additions is a two-story, 8,500-square-foot fieldhouse connected directly to the school's existing gymnasium, giving Newman athletes upgraded space right on campus.
So this week, I'm breaking down the facilities behind one of the most recognizable high school football programs in the country — and taking a closer look at what students are actually getting at a school that costs more than $30,000 per year to attend.

Inside Isidore Newman’s $4.5M Fieldhouse

🏟️ Size & Scope — 3.5/5
At roughly $5 million and 9,000 square feet, this isn't one of the biggest high school projects in the country.
But for a private school on an 11-acre campus, it's a significant athletic investment.

🏗️ Quality of Upgrades — 4.5/5
The two-story fieldhouse adds a football locker room, coaches' offices, meeting spaces, laundry, storage and other support areas.
Newman also renovated its historic gym instead of replacing it.

👷 Construction — 4.5/5
Woodward Design+Build handled both the design and construction.
The new fieldhouse was built directly alongside the existing gym, blending modern facilities with Newman's athletic history.

🎉 Game-Day Experience — 4/5
Newman's athletic complex includes turf fields, a press box, concessions, locker rooms and premium viewing areas.
For a high school, it feels much closer to a small college setup.

💰 Education & Athlete Experience — 4.5/5
Tuition costs more than $30,000 per year, but students get access to impressive academic and athletic resources.
More than 85% of Middle and Upper School students participate in at least one sport, with facilities built to support them.
